Respecting the terroir and the environment encourages us to limit the use of additives and sulfites in regards to the health of our customers. Knowledge of the product and of vinification techniques allow us to use our know-how in natural product preservation to avoid the “high” minimum limits of sulfites imposed by the SAQ.
The way the Ferme Apicole Desrochers project took form has logically pointed us toward the EcoCert organic certification in 2008. Obtaining it simply meant that our traditional and natural approach was officially recognized. Infused by the intention of a return to the land in the region of the Upper Laurentians, the beekeeping project of Claude and Marie-Claude could only be done in the fullest respect of the nature that surrounds us.
